One Room Challenge Spring 2016 Reveals to Watch!

Here are a few of my favourite things in some other One Room Challenge rooms. Plus a list of 19 One Room Challenge Reveals to Watch!

Have you been following along with our One Room Challenge basement half-bathroom addition? I will be posting the big reveal tomorrow, but if you’re anxiously waiting to check out some other rooms in the meantime – then today is the day to see what my online friends have been up to in this roundup of One Room Challenge Reveals to Watch!

Sarah from Flourish and Knot (who is doing a Harry Potter themed nursery!) corralled a bunch of us together so that we could highlight our favourite things in some other One Room Challenge rooms.  With all the busy-ness of my own challenge, I’ve found it hard to share as much on social media the last couple of weeks :(

Normally I don’t post on a Monday but I just had to share these great spaces (also, I have sooooo many extra bathroom updates, so although the challenge is ending this week, I’ll have some more posts the next few weeks too!).

Industrial + Modern Rooms

I’m still trying to figure out my design style 100%, but I do know that I gravitate to modern rooms (with a few touches of traditional here and there).  I definitely like clean lines, minimalist décor and bright colours – but enough about me… let’s get to some other awesome room makeovers!

Guest Bedroom

Lindi from Love Create Celebrate is redoing a basement guest bedroom.  The room was originally tan and navy blue – but painting everything white really helped brighten the space (and I’m liking those new vinyl floors!).

White is not a colour I have in any of my rooms, but seeing this space slowly come together might have me re-thinking my colourful views haha!  Also, I’m dying to find out how she transforms a vintage chair.

Master Bedroom Closet

Jennifer and Vicki from 2 Bees in a Pod are creating (aka building from scratch) a master bedroom closet.  We just renovated ours… and it took about 6 months – so to get this figured out in 6-weeks is definitely a challenge haha!

Their design incorporates a lot of copper (which I love!) and by using plumbing pipes, they are able to completely customize the space.  And that navy wall combo with the new floors?  Dreamy!

Family and Breakfast Room

Jess from Domicile 37 is redoing her (rental) family room – so all the changes she makes will need to be non-permanent.  Even so, she still managed to create a SHOW STOPPER fireplace façade and has painted it a gorgeous matte black.

If you saw what the fireplace looked like before, you’d be heading out to the store to buy your own materials to re-create this look asap!

Minimalist Kitchen

Kathy from Up To Date Interiors is also redecorating a rental space, but this time it’s a minimalist kitchen in Japan!  I really like Kathy’s design style, and it’s always interesting to see what people can come up with when they aren’t allowed to make permanent changes to a space.

Can’t paint?  Why not try adding contact paper to your cabinets (or walls) like what she did here.  I really like her design plan, and I’m excited to see what cabinet pulls she goes with.

No problem, I really do like your style :) I haven’t even gotten through all the One Room Challenge final reveals yet, so I need to get on that!
