For the past several years (I’ve been blogging since 2015!) I’ve done a yearly recap of what’s been popular on my website. Year over year, there are definitely some posts that stick out and stay popular.

The list is almost the same as last years, but it was surprising to see a home tour sneak in to a top spot!
When I started my blog, I was writing about 2 posts per week all throughout the year. Eventually I had babies and moved down to once per week, but then life got busier and I was writing two posts per month. Last year was definitely my smallest blog year yet, with only 13 posts written.
Either way, here were the top three:
White Microcement Bathroom Reveal
Published in September, our basement bathroom renovation was a super slow (months long) project that we picked away at. I love how it turned out and since we don’t use it that often, it looks exactly like the photos still :)
Non-Traditional Bathroom Vanities
In the planning phases of our basement bathroom, I wrote about the non-traditional vanity ideas we were considering. Since we don’t use the bathroom downstairs very often, I was going for something visually appealing that wasn’t super expensive.
We went to Costa Rica last April! Without kids! This post talks about all the things we did, where we stayed, and what we recommend. Now that our kids are getting older, there were so many times I’d say “Oh, they would have loved this”.
This year we have some big/fun projects in the works so get ready for a lot MORE from the Madness and Method Blog. I’m going to write an overview/update post soon – so stay tuned for that!
